Antistreptolysin O ASO is a kind of metabolite could dissolve red cells, so it is called O hemolysin. After infected by group A hemolytic streptococcus, O hemolysin will exist as a kind of antigen.ASO increase seen in septicemia caused by upper respiratory tract infection, suppurative skin and soft tissue infection, group A hemolytic streptococcus.
Recommended for use:
a. As an aid for hemolytic streptococcus infection, scarlet fever, erythrotoxin, streptoglobular pharyngitis, tonsillitis diagnosis
b. As an aid for rheumatic fever, acute, glomerulonephritis diagnosis, if the content increase gradually along with erythrocyte deposition rate accelerated, it will be good for diagnosing.
Antistreptolysin O ASO IgG DOT Kit is used for the quantitative detection of Antistreptolysin O ASO IgG in human serum.
